PRAYER FOR THE NEWLY ELECTED POPE
His Holiness POPE LEO XIV

O God, Eternal Shepherd, we thank you for our new Holy Father.  Grant him wisdom, strength, and holiness as he leads your Church with love.  Guide him by your Spirit and  keep us united in faith and charity.  Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.  Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.  May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen. 

Mary, our Lady of Grace, pray for us.
Saint Joseph, pray for us.
All saints and angels in heaven, pray for us.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
