The Diocesan Finance Office, led by Rev. Fr. Bernie Gacelo, conducted its Second Learning Session on October 10, 2026, at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Candelaria, with the Finance Council Lay Coordinators of the parishes in the Episcopal District of St. Mark.
The session provided a meaningful opportunity for learning and exchange of best practices, reiterating the importance of responsible financial management, accountability, financial reporting, and sound decision-making in parish administration.
It also highlighted the importance of collaboration among the Parish Finance Council, the Parish Priest, and the Ministri ng mga Ingat-yaman sa mga Parokya in promoting transparency and the proper management of Church resources.
Special thanks to Rev. Fr. Louie Gatdula, Episcopal Vicar of the District of St. Mark, for graciously hosting the gathering and sharing his words of encouragement with the participants.
