Please take notice that for reasons of historical clarity, administrative distinction, and local identity, our community shall be officially recognized and addressed as the DIOCESAN SHRINE OF SAN AGUSTIN AND PARISH OF STA. CRUZ, moving away from the English translation (Diocesan Shrine of St. Augustine and Parish of the Holy Cross).
This clarification is intended to formally differentiate our parish from:
1. The Holy Cross Parish in Noveleta.
2. Other parishes within the diocese dedicated to the patronage of St. Augustine.
By reverting to the traditional titles of San Agustin and Sta. Cruz, we preserve our distinct community identity while fostering clear communication across the diocese. All official documents, promotional materials, and organizational letterheads are to reflect this title moving forward.
