On August 13, 2024, Tuesday, the Priest-Animator, Rev. Fr. Romel Lagata and the Lay-Coordinator of the Diocese of Imus Vocation Ministry, Bro. Domz Alarcon made a visit to the seminarians of the Diocese of Imus in San Carlos Seminary and in Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary. The rector of Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary, Rev. Fr. Jaime Marquez, received Fr. Romel and Bro. Domz with a warm welcome.
The purpose of the visit was to meet the seminarians of the diocese undergoing formation in the said seminaries and to let them feel that the diocese gladly supports their decision to positively respond to the call to priesthood. There is one seminarian in the discipleship stage at San Carlos Seminary and nine seminarians in the propaedeutic stage at Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary. This significant encounter will serve as the start of a stronger and more consistent bond with the seminarians of Imus staying outside the diocese with the Vocation Ministry and the good bishop, Most Rev. Reynaldo Evangelista.
