Dear Brother Priests and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Imus,
Greetings of peace!
Given the recent technological advancement, we affirm the assistance of digital tools in enhancing pastoral administration. The digitization of parish records, for instance, not only facilitates ease of access but also efficiency and preservation of ecclesiastical data.
Consistent with this objective, all parishes are enjoined to encode details of all canonical records (i.e. records of baptisms, confirmations, first communion, conversions, marriages, deaths, etc.) into digital formats (e.g. Microsoft Excel or PIMS) within six (6) months from the date of issuance of this letter.
To assist and guide us in this transition, attached is a survey form that pertains to the computerization or digitization of your parish records that will be submitted on or before September 30, 2025.
