Dear Brother Priests, Consecrated Persons, and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Imus,

Greetings of Peace!

The Diocese of Imus will host the observance of the 4th day of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2026 through a Worship Service, along with various ecumenical groups and Christian churches, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Queen’s Row, City of Bacoor, Cavite.

Initiated by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines- Episcopal Commission on Ecumenical Affairs (CBCP-ECEA) and the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP), the theme for this annual celebration, “There is One Body and One Spirit… One Hope of Your Calling” (Ephesians 4:4), reflects our desire to pray together for unity, peace, and solidarity.

I kindly encourage our parishes and communities to participate by sending representatives to this meaningful event as we pray together and strengthen our bonds with other Christian communities. Please coordinate with Rev. Fr. Ildefonso Diente, our Diocesan Coordinator on Ecumenical affairs.

As we gather together in prayer, may our commitment to Christian unity bear fruit through our mutual collaboration and support.
