Heavenly Father, Lord of all nations and Shepherd of your Church, in this sacred moment of discernment and grace. We lift up to You the College of Cardinals as they enter the Conclave to choose the new Successor of Saint Peter.
From the heart of Asia we join the universal Church in prayer, asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit - that wisdom, humility, and courage may lead every thought and decision.
May the new Holy Father be a servant-leader after the heart of Your Only Begotten Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, may he be a bridge-builder among peoples, and a defender of the poor and the voiceless, a father to all cultures and nations, and a faithful shepherd for these times of great hope and challenge.
