Dear Brother Priests, Consecrated Persons, and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Imus, 

Greetings of Peace! 

As the Diocese of Imus prepares for its 65th Canonical Foundation Anniversary, we are led by the Holy Spirit to discern the emerging pastoral context and concerns of the Province of Cavite, which is in view of our vision for a renewed society or pinagpanibagong lipunan.

For this purpose, diocesan conference will be held at the Sisters of Mary Girlstown, Silang, Cavite from 9am to 3pm on the following dates:

• > January 20, 2026 (Tuesday): Mga Alagad ni Kristo - Trends in the Universal Church (Speaker: His Eminece Luis Antonio Cardinal G. Tagle))
• > February 17, 2026 (Tuesday): Simbahan ng mga Dukha - Socio-Economic Situation in Cavite (by Cavite State University)
• > May 01, 2026 (Friday): May Pakikisangkot: Cultural and Ecological Situation of Cavite (by De La Salle University - City of Dasmariñas)
• > August 31, 2026 (Monday): May Pananagutan: Socio-Political Changes and Trends (by Cavite State University and Cavite Development Council)

These series of conferences will be attached by the following representatives:

1. 1. Clergy of the Diocese of Imus
2. 2. Parish lay coordinator, Parish lay formation representative, Parish lay appointee (delegated by the parish priest)
3. 3. representative from the Catholic schools and congregational schools;
4. 4. representative from religious institutes/ congregations; and
5. 5. heads of diocesan ministries and lay associations.

The abovementioned delegates are expected to attend all conferences and participate actively in focus group discussions.

The fruit of these conference will be valuable for our future assemblies as we discern for concrete spiritual and pastoral programs that will respond concretely to the needs of the People of God in our Local Church.
