PAMANAMPALATAYA

The Ministry on the Cultural Heritage of the Church (Ministri sa mga Pamanang Pangkalinangan ng Simbahan) is a newly established pastoral initiative under the Diocese of Imus. Officially launched on February 29, 2024, the Ministry is tasked with preserving the Diocese’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

Their mission is to keep Cavite’s evangelization story alive through its sacred art, historical artifacts, and heritage structures—ultimately nurturing a faith-filled, “maka-Diyos” way of life among Caviteños.

They prioritize and encourage participations from:

1. Parish cultural heritage council or committee heads
2. Parish workers in charge of the church’s temporalities and archives
3. Teachers and students, especially from our diocesan schools, interested in heritage preservation
4. The general public with a heart for our culture and Christian faith

By attending PAMANAMPALATAYA, you learn the cultural heritage basics straight from the experts. This masterclass also equips you to become a: 

• Champion of cultural heritage preservation in our Diocese.
• Qualified and trained lay volunteer to initiate your institution’s or parish’s cultural heritage committee or council.
• Partner of the Ministry on the Cultural Heritage of the Church in our future programs and activities.

PAMANAMPALATAYA participants also get the chance to forge networks with fellow parish-based cultural heritage advocates, exchange insights and best practices with each other, and collaborate to formulate meaningful programs and solutions in response to the challenges and opportunities facing our religious cultural heritage in Cavite.
