Dear Brothers Priests, Consecrated Persons, and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Imus,

Greetings of peace!

The National Catechetical Sunday will be held on September 13, 2026, the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

We recognize in a special way the commitment of our catechists whose zeal in proclaiming the Gospel in our respective parishes and Christian communities has been a source of inspiration.

Let us pray that the Lord may constantly bestow on them the grace of faith, perseverance, and charity so that through their humble service the values of the Gospel may flourish in our communities.

A special collection will also be held in all anticipated and Sunday masses for the formation and continuing development of the catechetical ministry in our local Churches. Let us appeal for the generosity of our parish communities in sustaining this important ministry.

May this celebration constantly renew in us the grace of mission.
